Learner Reviews

Friendly and knowledgeable instructors. Also the courses are not packed full of students so more time for 1-1 help and tutoring.

More Training for your Money.

Less classroom time, more tools in hands time.  Although our courses are short they are very intensive and you will be in your bays completing practical work on day 1.  The only way you are going to learn is by having the correct tools in your hand and practicing, practicing, practicing.

It is also important when completing a course that you are completing a good range of tasks using a range of tools and fitting to industry standards.  When deciding on which training centre to attend take the time to compare sizes of training bays and visit a centre when a course is on to speak with learners.

After completing the courses with you I left the Royal Navy after 32 years and, subsequently, I have been very busy as a self employed Handyman. I have put to good use all of the skills learned during your very informative and very well taught courses.

I have fitted kitchens and a bathroom (with associated plumbing), laid a patio and built a wall round it, plastered numerous ceilings and walls and done several tiling jobs – not to mention a myriad of other jobs including lots of painting and fitting loads of skirting board. The only thing I haven’t done yet is build a stud wall!

I can honestly say that the courses I completed (Plastering and Plumbing, Kitchen fitting, Carpentry, Bricklaying and Tiling) have been invaluable in providing me with both the skills and confidence to take on jobs for customers rather than just DIY. Additionally the help given by your great team of tutors in preparing quotes for different jobs deserves a particular mention because, quite often, the most difficult part of a job is getting the quote correct and competitive.

Many thanks to all staff for helping me with my business and for making all of the courses an enjoyable experience.
